Third round: JJ Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Stanford

JJ Arcega-Whiteside is one of the best jump ball receivers in this draft class.

That should come as no surprise as he has basketball running through his veins.

Both of Arcega-Whiteside’s parents were exceptional basketball players, and he’s translated some of that skill set to the football field.

He’s not just a one-trick pony, though.

Arcega-Whiteside has better-than-advertised speed, and does a good job of beating press coverage as well as running a diverse route tree.

He’s got incredibly strong hands and is a winner at the catch point.
