Penny Hart, WR, Georgia State

You wanna talk about a player getting slept on? How does a guy who — in three healthy seasons — turn out 195 receptions, 2900 yards, and 18 TD’s, and not get an invite to the combine? That is the definition of getting slept on.

Anyways, one of the acclaimed “boxes” to check is the classic “what did he do against the big schools?” box. Well:

  • 9 for 128 yards vs. Oregon as a freshman
  • 7 for 56 yards vs Penn State
  • 3 catches for 53 Yards/4 carries for 43 yards vs N.C. State

So, by all means, Hart held his own. This is a former high school quarterback that did nothing but get open during his time at Georgia State.
