Josh Oliver, TE, San Jose State

Another small school kid here, the only difference is, he didn’t have all the college success in the world.

I’m not here to take any shots at anybody, but having three different quarterbacks at the helm this past season alone doesn’t really lead to the greatest continuity.

Nonetheless, if you’re a football team that needs explosion at the tight end position, here’s a guy that can take it 70-yards for the score. Granted, it was against Hawaii, but I’ll stop.

I can see why NFL Scouts are sleeping on this guy. He didn’t have many big-time TV games when you go 1-12 like San Jose St. did last season.

He’s a really fluid athlete at 6’5″, paired with strong and natural hands. Now, can he block? He’s no Rob Gronkowski, but they don’t just grow those on trees. A playmaker nonetheless.
