2. Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama

The 49ers have some roster decisions to make in 2020.

With plenty of cap space, it seems likely they will exercise the team option on DeForest Buckner, and they have one year left with Arik Armstead.

Buckner and Armstead, along with Solomon Thomas, give the 49ers a tremendous group of interior players and guys who can do a little bit of everything up front.

But are any of those guys up there with Quinnen Williams as far as potential on the interior as pass rushers?

I’m not so sure.

Williams was a devastating player for those who took on Alabama this year. This kid just does not take any single play lightly at all.

He’s all over the field, he’s got a huge personality, and he’s learned how to be dominant at a very young age.

He’s only going to get better and if the Niners can live with Bosa going elsewhere, Williams would not be a bad pick at no. 2 overall. Some feel he’s the best player in this draft regardless of position.
