Chicago Bears 2019 Mock Draft: Sticking to best player available
By Erik Lambert
7th Round via PHI
Talent hasn’t been what held Austin Bryant back from achieving more during his run at Clemson. It was a lack of polish. He never seemed quite able to master the pass rush art before his college career ended. Still, he had plenty of success and displays the necessary physical traits from size to quickness and burst to be an effective rusher in the NFL. The Bears will have to work him hard in regards to using his hands properly and developing a greater arsenal of moves.

It’s a considerable surprise that Johnson fell this far. He was a productive player at Buffalo who displays a good mixture of size, fluidity, and strong hands. He has no problem playing tough against more aggressive defensive backs and proved himself to be a dependable target when making difficult catches over the middle. Johnson may never be the main guy in an offense but he has the look of somebody who can be that secondary option.
