Offensive Tackle

The overhaul of the Giants’ offensive line is almost complete.

Last offseason they signed Nate Solder and drafted Will Hernandez, who will man the left side of the line again this year.

This offseason, they traded for Kevin Zeitler (right guard) and have the chance to solidify the line for years to come with one of their top picks.

Jawaan Taylor, Florida

Taylor already has starting experience at right tackle and is considered one of the nastiest players in the draft at the tackle position in general.

He is an athletic road grader, and would be an instant starter for the Giants.

Projection: Top 15

Jonah Williams, Alabama

Jonah Williams has been projected to move inside at the next level, but he doesn’t necessarily have to. The Giants could flip him to the right tackle position (easier said than done) where he would start next to Zeitler.

Williams is a technician and very confident in his abilities. He works extremely hard and is very solid all-around as a pass protector and run blocker.

Projection: Top 20

Dalton Risner, Kansas State

Risner is considered the meanest tackle in the class and it would be fun to see he and Will Hernandez on the same team.

A rare three-time captain at Kansas State, Risner is as impressive a person as he is a football player.

Projection: Late 1st round

Andre Dillard, Washington State

Dillard is considered the best pass protector in the draft this year. Playing at Washington State, pass protecting is of paramount importance, but this guy wins with exceptional athleticism and footwork at the position.

He could transition to the right side and give the Giants extra protection on the outside for Manning and whoever the QB of the future ends up being.
