Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama

The Cardinals may have Nick Bosa atop their draft board on the defensive side of the ball, but it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if Quinnen Williams was a 1a on that list.

While Bosa is an elite edge player who can move inside on passing downs in certain situations, Williams projects as an ideal 3T in the NFL (three technique, lined up over or shading the offensive guard) where his quickness can be devastating.

Just a redshirt sophomore, Williams broke out this past year for the Crimson Tide, racking up 71 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, and eight sacks.

His quickness and power was simply too much for interior offensive linemen to handle all year.

One of my favorite qualities about Williams is his competitive fire. You can tell this guy wants to win every single rep in every game, and plays with his hair on fire but not recklessly.

He’s got such a high ceiling being such a young player, and the Cardinals could build their defense around him if they wanted.
