The Arizona Cardinals have telegraphed their 2019 NFL Draft intentions in round one, but they have plenty of options besides Kyler Murray.

The Arizona Cardinals are taking on a complete makeover this offseason, which isn’t atypical of a team that finished with the worst record in football the year prior.

General manager Steve Keim decided to make a change at head coach by firing Steve Wilks after just one year on the job and replacing him with Kliff Kingsbury, who was fired from Texas Tech and had an offensive coordinator job lined up at USC.

Kingsbury is the Cardinals’ take on the Los Angeles Rams’ Sean McVay hire, but as we’re coming to find, there’s really only one McVay.

Kingsbury has done a great job of developing quarterbacks through the years and that’s precisely what the Cardinals want him to do.

Though Kingsbury is being brought in to develop a young quarterback, the Cardinals apparently didn’t mandate that quarterback be Josh Rosen. Rosen was the Cardinals’ first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, but Keim was apparently not impressed enough last season to prevent Kingsbury from imposing the idea of a new quarterback coming to town.

More on that in a bit.

The Cardinals hired Vance Joseph to run their defense, so you can expect to see this team throwing the ball a lot on offense and running a lot of 4-2-5 defensively.

What does that mean for their top options in the 2019 NFL Draft, specifically in the first round?

Let’s take a look at some of the top options for the Cardinals.
