The Arizona Cardinals made some wholesale changes already this offseason. How did the first wave of free agency go for them?

The NFL offseason is off to a roaring start with the first wave of free agency already in the rearview, and the 2019 NFL Draft slowly but surely coming into focus. The Arizona Cardinals, armed with the top overall pick, a new head coach, and plenty of cap space, have been extremely active.

The rumors of Arizona’s interest in Oklahoma Sooners Heisman-winning quarterback Kyler Murray quieted down at the start of the new league year as general manager Steve Keim, head coach Kliff Kingsbury, and defensive coordinator Vance Joseph came together to identify targets for this squad.

Keep in mind, the Cardinals got started long ago on free agency. They brought in DJ Swearinger at the end of the 2018 regular season to be a starting safety along with Budda Baker, and one of the top priorities for them this offseason was to re-sign wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

Let’s take a look at all of the Cardinals’ moves thus far, even dating back to moves they made in February to set the new foundation of this team going forward.
