5th Round (via DET)

. S. Boston College. Will Harris . 7. player. 31

Tough and athletic are two qualities that have always gone hand in hand with good Giants players. Their secondary needs a serious overhaul. Will Harris is not yet ready to start in the NFL but his physical capability and natural instincts make it seem like it won’t be long before that changes. He has cover talent and size as well. If he can learn proper discipline, the rest should fall into place.

5th Round

TE. LSU. Foster Moreau . 8. player. 31.

Part of a great running game isn’t just the running back and the offensive line. Everybody must do their job blocking in order to make it a success. Foster Moreau has become one of the better blocking tight ends in college football, having helped multiple backs have success at LSU. This can overshadow his athletic upside, perhaps making him a late-bloomer as a pass catcher.

5th Round (comp)

player. 31. . OG. Jacksonville State. B.J. Autry . 9

If an offensive lineman has size and power, he can play in the NFL. It’ll only be a matter if he can cover up his other limitations with technique refinement. B.J. Autry has those building blocks but he’s been feasting on lesser competition in college. It will be a massive jump in talent opposition at the pro level, something that will take adjusting to.
