It’s rather fitting that the Giants use one of the draft picks from the Cleveland Browns to add a new receiver considering that’s where they sent Odell Beckham Jr. Debates will continue for years to come about where that move was wise or one of the most foolish in recent memory. One thing is for sure. New York lacks firepower on the outside.

Signing Golden Tate will help but they still need another target. Somebody who can make life easier for Manning. Why not a guy who is 6’6 with a wide catch radius and physical presence? Hakeem Butler flashed constantly at Iowa State, able to consistently outmatch defensive backs for the ball with underrated speed. He’ll have to improve his catch concentration though.
