Chicago Bears 2019 Mock Draft: Getting creative with the trades
By Erik Lambert
4th Round
The Bears may not be able to find Jordan Howard’s replacement in the later rounds of the draft, but then again why can’t they? That’s where they found Howard after all. Not to mention Tarik Cohen. There’s no reason to think they can’t find somebody who can be a nice fit in Matt Nagy’s offense, either as a feature back or part of a committee.
Dexter Williams wasn’t much of a factor as a runner until his senior year but made it count with 995 yards and 12 touchdowns on just 158 carries. He’s got some explosiveness to him, good size, and seems to have the vision to find where the openings are at the line of scrimmage. He can also catch and block, two things that are rare for a lot of backs.
