Sometimes in life, our value as an asset diminishes due to no cause of our own.

Greg Little is the classic example of this.

Did Mr. Little have the worst combine day ever? No. But did every single one of the tackles he’s stacked up against in this draft class have a fantastic weekend? Absolutely.

Again, sometimes in life you’re a ‘loser’ because the other guy is a winner.

Little lost this weekend because Andre Dillard went sub-5 in the 40, because Kaleb McGary ran a 7.66 3-cone at 6’7″, or because even with a bum hamstring Jawaan Taylor has lighter feet than all of Paris Opera Ballet’s dancers.
