Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins hired a new head coach this offseason in Patriots defensive coordinator Brian Flores.

They also appear likely to release veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill, which would leave them with a major question mark at that position.

The Dolphins are seemingly in the perfect situation to give Murray a shot. That’s not to say they have such a strong structure in place that they can try anything and see if it works, but they are in a state of transition and people in charge are going to have to make a bold move while hoping something works.

Murray would have some intriguing weapons in Miami and that offense would be absolutely loaded with speed. The Dolphins would probably have to make a big trade up from the 13th overall pick to get Murray at this point, but again, they might be in a position where they need to make a bold move.

General manager Chris Grier has worked with the team since 2000. He, as well as anyone, understands what this Dolphins team needs and if he makes a big play for Murray, it could vault the franchise into contention.
