Malcolm Smith (LB, Seattle Seahawks)

He may not have been the star linebacker of that great 2013 Seattle Seahawks defense, but he was a steady contributor and nobody can ever say Malcolm Smith wasn’t ready for the big moments. After all, he did have the two biggest interceptions in franchise history in consecutive weeks. In the NFC championship against San Francisco, he caught the deflected pass by Richard Sherman that put the game away. Then two weeks later he picked off Peyton Manning for a touchdown that broke the Super Bowl open, earning him MVP honors. Solid for a 7th round comp pick.

Kendell Beckwith (LB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

It might be a bit early to declare Beckwith the best comp pick the Buccaneers have ever produced but that should give an indication of how poorly the franchise has utilized them over the years. Beckwith made a hell of a first impression with the team as a rookie in 2017. He started 11 games, making 73 tackles with a sack and a forced fumble. Seven of his tackles were for a loss and he deflected two passes as well. Sadly he suffered a season-ending injury in 2018, so the team is in a holding pattern to see what he does under new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.
