7. Dallas Cowboys

7. player. 123. . S. Dallas Cowboys. Earl Thomas

It’s a move that has been speculated on all the way back to 2017 when Earl Thomas was caught after a Seahawks-Cowboys game seeking out head coach Jason Garrett to talk. It’s hard not to assume the veteran former Pro Bowler wants to play in Dallas. He’s a Texas-native after all. Playing for that franchise is a dream for many young football players from that state.

The Cowboys have good reason to seek him out too. For as good as their defense was last season, most of the credit goes to their outstanding front seven. They got by with a fair decent secondary but nobody who could make plays consistently. Thomas would change that. His range, instinct, and ball skills are among the best in the NFL, even as he enters his 30s.
