6. Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns. Trey Flowers . 6. player. 53. . DE

The New England Patriots could franchise tag Flowers if they want to, but that’s generally not a method Bill Belichick has preferred to use. Outside of Tom Brady, no player is irreplaceable in his mind. Just refer to the list of outstanding players he’s let walk in the past. Flowers could be the latest. He’s going to command a big contract and the Patriots don’t have a lot of cap space for it.

The Cleveland Browns have shown an affinity for Patriots players in the past and they still have plenty of money to spend. Imagine how much better their defense could be with Myles Garrett on one side and Flowers on the other. Their defensive front would be one no team in the AFC wants to see and it would make life for Flowers so much easier.
