Jadeveon Clowney is a Pro Bowl star for the Houston Texans, and yet somehow he remains one of the most frustrating players on their roster. For a guy who’s been to three Pro Bowls already and looked so dominant at times, it still feels like he’s not giving his 100% effort. Like he’s trying to take a little bit home with him every week. Keep in mind he still has had double digit sacks.

Yet the fact is he’s one of the best players on their defense and in the NFL. J.J. Watt isn’t getting any younger. The team has to keep one eye on the future. They have enough money to work out a long-term deal but the rumors persist that they will choose to go with the franchise tag instead. Probably not a bad idea given his track record to this point.
