Kliff Kingsbury is in charge now. Make no mistake. The Arizona Cardinals are going to be a throwing football team moving forward. It’s Josh Rosen‘s offense now and they must take steps in order to ensure he can survive long enough to blossom. That means finding help to upgrade what was a lackluster offensive line in 2018, both inside and out.

Rodger Saffold started every game in 2018 and was a big part of their rushing attack. He’s a capable veteran at the guard position who can fill a need in the short-term. He plays with toughness and intelligence, keeping his head on a swivel and doesn’t get knocked on his heels too often. His presence should provide a cleaner pocket for Rosen to find his targets.
