He had a hell of a run in New Orleans but it feels like the two sides are ready to move on. The Saints probably won’t want to pay him big money at his age and likely feel they can get somebody to team with Alvin Kamara moving forward. That said, Ingram can still be that bell cow back for somebody thanks in large part to being in committee situations for so long.

The Buffalo Bills want to be an old-fashioned team that can run the ball and plays defense. This is a necessity with such a young quarterback. LeSean McCoy has been tremendous for them over the years but he’s over the hill and not the player he once was. Ingram offers them at least a few years of a true workhorse until they can find somebody younger.
