As stated earlier, it will be challenging for the Los Angeles Rams to keep their defense together this year with some long-term finances coming up. Still, there is enough time to work the salary cap to their advantage and after coming so close to a championship last year, they have to keep the formula close to what it was so they can have another shot at it.

That means they should endeavor to keep Lamarcus Joyner. He shouldn’t cost too much, having been more of a solid starter than a top playmaker. He’s also turning 29-years old this season. So the odds are his extension would be something they can afford, keeping his versatile skill set on the back end to make life easier for others.
