The Philadelphia Eagles became hard-pressed in a big way at cornerback last season and it likely ended up costing them in the end. It almost cost them the game in Chicago and did lose them the game in New Orleans. Injuries at the position were rampant. One of the toughest losses was Ronald Darby who had become a quality piece in their secondary.

His health though has been an issue. Bringing him back is something they are likely to consider but it will be at their price and on a short-term deal. He has no reason not accept. He’s still young enough to turn that into a long-term extension if he plays well and that system under Jim Schwartz seems to be one he enjoys playing in.
