Devin Singletary - RB Sleeper

The Bears don’t need to rush on that. All they have to do is make sure they cut Simms prior to free agency which isn’t until mid-March. Until then there isn’t a ton of pressure to get him off the roster. Not unless his camp insists it because they want to get a head start on exploring the market. Given the lack of movement, odds are they have an idea of where his value stands at this point and get the sense it’s better to just wait it out.

The two names that stand out at this point are David Montgomery and Devin Singletary. Both come from smaller programs with less widespread media attention but have been consistent producers. They have the ability to tote the ball several times without wearing down but also have enough explosion and pass-catching ability to be threats out of the backfield as receivers. Tony Pollard of Memphis is another name worth watching as well. Lots of upside talent out there.
