Way-Too-Early Super Bowl and other predictions for 2019

Biggest turnaround team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It’s felt like the Buccaneers were one of the biggest underachieving teams in the NFL. They have a #1 pick in Jameis Winston at quarterback and a wealth of offensive talent around him. If they could just get somebody who could get him to play under control and fix the defense at the same time, they’d be in business. At last the franchise seems to have made a move in the right direction by hiring Bruce Arians to become the next head coach.
Admittedly there is some risk involved. Arians is one of the oldest head coaches to ever be hired in the NFL. It’s hard to say how long of a window he presents this team. That said, he can do what they need him to. He’ll whip Winston into shape and get him playing more fundamentally sound. At the same time, his hiring of Todd Bowles as defensive coordinator was a strong move. With a switch to a 3-4 and shuffling of personnel, they should be better and more aggressive on that side of the ball as well.
After going 5-11 this past season, expect the Buccaneers to make the playoffs at somewhere around 10-6.
