The Super Bowl of 2018 featured two teams that were relative favorites to get there. So what is there to expect for 2019?

Better still, what about the other major landmarks of the NFL from the top of the draft to the MVP award and biggest stories? That is what this article will explore, going across the timeline offering predictions for every major stop along the way. Sure it’s early, but there is plenty of evidence to suggest that what’s to come over the next 12 months is already set in stone for one reason or another.

Starting with the top pick this coming April.

#1 overall pick:  Nick Bosa

There is a definite possibility that a team craving a quarterback may jump up to the #1 spot to get their guy. It happens a lot these days. However, if the Arizona Cardinals stay put at that spot, it’s clear they won’t be taking a quarterback with Josh Rosen in place. That means it will be strictly best player available there isn’t an argument anybody can make that will tip the scales against Nick Bosa at this point. The tape and the production back it up.

This kid appears to be a ready-made stud for the NFL. His mixture of size, quickness, speed, and power are unequaled in the class. Some are even saying he’s more talented than his Pro Bowler of a brother Joey and they have a good argument. The kid is a freak of nature who can be that 10-12 sacks per year kind of guy. Arizona has to be salivating at the idea of pairing him with Chandler Jones on that defensive front.
