Earl Thomas signs with Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys defense was excellent in 2018, but it feels like it was still missing something. Most of their success could be credited to an outstanding front seven. Their secondary was solid, but they never had a genuine playmaker who could create big plays. Perhaps this is a big reason the team has been tied to safety Earl Thomas for over a year. The former All-Pro safety is one of the best in the NFL at that exact thing.

Thomas has been wanting out of Seattle for some time now and it’s no secret he wants to play in Dallas. He was caught on camera expressing that desire. Even at age 30 he proved last year he still makes quarterbacks pay for testing his area of the field too often. He’s a leader and has championship experience the Cowboys should be looking for. Especially in that secondary. It truly is an excellent match.
