5. Cole Beasley, Dallas Cowboys

Age: 29 (will be 30 in April)

Cole Beasley is not the flashiest player on this list by any means, but he’s one of the most effective.

Beasley was targeted 85 times in 2018 and managed to get 39 first downs for the Cowboys. This is a guy who has always been effective at moving the chains and making plays in critical situations, but that was perhaps never more evident than in 2018 with Dallas.

Beasley is not a player who is going to overwhelm you with speed or physicality but he’s a smart receiver who understands how to manipulate coverages, get open, and make big plays.

If Beasley goes to an offense with a savvy quarterback and a smart offensive coordinator, he’s going to be able to have some really effective years well into his 30s.

He won’t be one of the highest paid free agents in the league, but he’s going to be sought after by good teams and my guess is he’ll have his pick of great situations in his post-Cowboys career.
