3. Tyrell Williams, Los Angeles Chargers

Age: 27

Since making the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Western Oregon in 2015, Tyrell Williams has quietly become one of the top big-play receivers in the NFL.

This past season with the Chargers, he caught 41 of his 63 targets, five of which went for touchdowns. He averaged 15.9 yards per reception and that wasn’t an anomaly over the past three seasons.

In 2017, Williams averaged 16.9 yards per catch and the year before that — his highest usage so far at 119 targets — he averaged 15.3 yards per reception.

As crazy as it sounds, Williams has a 1,000-yard season under his belt but the Chargers have not really made him a featured player in their offense over the past two seasons.

He has 16 touchdown catches over the past three seasons and believes in himself as a number one receiver.

In all likelihood, Williams is going to look for a situation where he is paid like a number one receiving option and also sort of handed the opportunity to be one. He wants to prove himself but he’s also got to cash in.
