Jay Ajayi, Philadelphia Eagles

Best fits: Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles

The Oakland Raiders have some cap space to play with and they will be transitioning to Las Vegas next year, which means their players will have no state income tax after 2019.

With that said, they could be an attractive team for just about any back on this list, especially if they choose to move forward from Marshawn Lynch and Doug Martin this offseason.

One player I think would really attract Jon Gruden is Jay Ajayi, a throwback type of running back who seeks out contact and is also capable of breaking off big chunk gains.

Ajayi has shown promise over the past three seasons as a featured back in the NFL with both the Dolphins and Eagles, but this past season only played in four games due to injury.

Ajayi will have to prove to teams looking to sign him that his health is not going to be an issue, but I can see his throwback, bruising style of play being something Gruden really covets.

If not the Raiders, Ajayi was clearly a good fit for the Eagles. They may not have enough cap space to re-sign him to the type of deal he will be looking for, though.
