2. Jacksonville Jaguars

Blake Bortles proved in 2018 that his 2017 season in which he helped lead the Jacksonville Jaguars to the AFC Championship game was nothing more than fool’s gold.

Bortles’ ineptitude cost the Jaguars badly this season, and that one is really on the front office for convincing themselves they had finally broken through with this guy.

Bortles is what he is, and the Jaguars knew it, but didn’t want to admit defeat on such a high draft choice just yet.

This offseason, they have no choice. Bortles cannot be that team’s starting quarterback going into next season.

With that said, the idea of adding Tyrod Taylor should have some appear for Jacksonville, a team that needs to win now and cash in on this championship window they have seemingly created.

If Jacksonville’s offense added a player like Taylor, they might just vault themselves back into the AFC South conversation with Houston and Indianapolis. They have the pieces on defense to get it done, and they have some weapons in the running game offensively.

Taylor won’t cost them an arm and a leg to bring in and he has proven he can lead a team into postseason play.
