Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Age: 36

Ryan Fitzpatrick showed this past season that there’s still plenty of Fitz-magic left in the tank with some early season performances that had the entire league in a tizzy.

The former seventh-round pick out of Harvard has played for seven different NFL teams and could very well end up with his eighth this coming offseason.

He’s a very valuable backup, however, and could be a strong option for teams with a young quarterback or someone in the starting lineup who has been injury prone in the past.

Is your team drafting a quarterback in round one this year? Fitzpatrick may be a solid mentor and backup option.

Fitzpatrick is a pretty classic gunslinger type and had a higher touchdown percentage (6.9 percent) than he has ever had in his career before this season.

His 17 touchdowns and 12 interceptions are a pretty clear indicator of what you’re going to get from this guy, but he’s absolutely worth having around as a veteran who has just about done it all, and someone who has proven he can do what it takes to make it in the league as a late-round pick.

If the Buccaneers don’t re-sign Fitzpatrick, he should have no shortage of suitors on the open market.
