Defensive Line standouts

Texas A&M defensive tackle Daylon Mack continues to build off of an impressive senior season for the Aggies and a strong East-West Shrine week.

Mack plays with a low center of gravity and has some serious pop with his initial hand punch. He is quick off the ball and fights through the whistle. If he keeps winning this many individual reps it’s going to be tough for teams to ignore him on day two of the 2019 Draft.

Arizona State’s Renell Wren became such a problem they started double-teaming him in drills. The rep linked here shows Wren beating an interior lineman without barely even being touched. Checking in over 6-foot-4, 314 pounds, Wren allegedly ran a 4.65 coming out of high school.

This guy is a special athlete.

Iowa’s Anthony Nelson is one of the most underrated players in this year’s class. The fourth-year junior checked in with nearly 35-inch arms and at 6-foot-7, 272 pounds understands how to play with leverage, which is critical for someone his height.
