Tevin Coleman – RB – Atlanta Falcons

Much like Ingram, Tevin Coleman will benefit from a weak running back class as he is set to enter free agency this offseason.

Coleman was given his chance to shine this year as teammate and usual starter Devonta Freeman played in only two games this year. Coleman showed promise, rushing for 800 yards on the year and adding another 276 receiving to put him over 1,000 all purpose yards in 2018.

Coleman’s season was a bit up and down at points but he still was able to flash a lot of upside.

Teams targeting Coleman may not be as confident in him as they may be Mark Ingram but he should still attract plenty of suitors. Had Coleman been given more touches, it’s possible he may have broken 1,000 yards this year.

The Falcons seemed hesitant at times to give Coleman a full work load. Some may find this suspicious and wonder why he wasn’t given more. Others may think it’s possible we haven’t seen his ceiling yet.

It is hard to believe that with Freeman already under a large contract that the Falcons re-sign Coleman long term. That means Coleman will likely be playing for a new team in 2019, with a nice new contract.
