Cody Parkey cost the Bears more than 5 mil. Will McCaskey swallow the 5 mil?

Actually, the Bears could ease some of that burden by making him a post-June 1st designated cut this year. That would leave no salary cap loss by cutting him and only $4 million in dead money. So there are ways for them to ease the financial burden by moving on and after the amount of cash this team raked in with a playoff run and all that merchandise sales? I don’t think they’d be too concerned about swallowing the minor loss.

What’s the deal with Mizzell? 🤔

Where do you think Kevin White ends up?

What if Parkey totally kills it during the preseason?

Mizzell seems like a pet project to Nagy who clearly prefers backs who are versatility and display speed, further opening up the passing game. The problem is he’s nowhere near the level of Tarik Cohen in that regard. Nagy appears blind to that reality.

White will probably sign a one-year deal with a team in need of receiving help and might see value in his exceptional size and athleticism. Most likely it will have to be in an offense that doesn’t put a huge demand on precise route running. Something that ended his tenure in Chicago.

Quite frankly I don’t know if the Bears even let Parkey get to the preseason.
