Prediction

An interesting set of styles are on display in this one.

The expectations for the Rams have been raised after their outstanding regular season. The amount of talent on the team altogether is enough to make a postseason run but it’s mainly going to boil down to whether or not mentally the team can raise to new heights.

A hot streak by the Cowboys has given them all the confidence they need to pull off road upset or two during the playoffs. Having Ezekiel Elliott set the tone early on can lead to just that.

Consistency has been shown from their defense in the turnover department with 14 turnovers forced in the last nine games of the regular season. They have also been stingy in the scoring defense category and with this high-powered offense staring across from them, they will have to be even tougher when the Cowboys are in scoring position.

Things can swing in the Rams favor here if Goff can get off to a hot start but pressure comes with that in just his second playoff game of his career. When Goff is on, this Rams team is hurdle to overcome. Look for the Rams offense to be aggressive even against an excellent Cowboys defense.

Just enough for Dallas to rely more on their air attack to win. Which can be dangerous territory for Dallas.

Score – Rams 28 Cowboys 20
