Five Prospects To Watch During Shrine Game Week

  • Mississippi WR DaMarkus Lodge: An argument can be made that Lodge was the best receiver all year for the Rebels. He has good size and route running ability that should allow him to dominate all week. He might get a Senior Bowl call up.
  • Boise State QB Brett Rypien: This quarterback class is an interesting group, and right now there isn’t a challenger to Dwayne Haskins. Rypien can raise his stock with a really good week down in Florida.
  • Kentucky CB Derrick Baity: Baity is a big, long corner with great physical traits. He isn’t afraid to get in your face and make things difficult.
  • Miami CB Michael Jackson: Another bigger, physical corner will be down in Florida alongside Baity. Jackson has solid ball skills and can work his way into day two conversation.
  • Fresno State WR KeeSean Johnson: Johnson had a great career at Fresno State, showing off good hands and the ability to create after the catch. He could be the star of the week.
