The Miami Dolphins have an issue at quarterback this coming offseason. Word is Ryan Tannehill has worn out his welcome and will likely be gone. This means the team must get to work quickly at finding replacement options. Their draft position isn’t ideal and they don’t have a lot of money to throw at any of the few free agents expected to be worth a push. This could mean they go another route by trying to create competition by adding several bodies with upside.

Joe Flacco still has a loyal following around the NFL. The belief is his experience, competitiveness, and still reasonable talent could make him a worthwhile investment. He has loads of starting experience and can be a reliable factor if he has a running game to help. No one can say he’s an outright solution but if the Dolphins are looking for decent pieces for a competition, they can do a lot worse. Baltimore should be open to this considering Lamar Jackson is the guy now.
