Word out of Jacksonville is the team is extremely frustrated with running back Leonard Fournette. Not only was his availability a problem last year due to persistent injury issues, he was also fined heavily due to his actions late in the season from causing a fight against Buffalo to supposed accusations of laziness and lack of desire to play. Word is they may look to move on, but can’t expect to do so without some sort of contingency plan.

Thankfully the Bears come to their rescue. Jordan Howard will be due a new contract in 2020 and there’s speculation the team may want to move him since he doesn’t seem to mesh well with Matt Nagy’s new offensive scheme. He’s much more the traditional runner who needs to get fed 20-25 times a game. The Jaguars have no issues with that and they have two 3rd round picks at their disposal, so this is a fair deal for both sides.
