The one trade every NFL team should make this 2019 offseason

This season proved that the Minnesota Vikings offense, while talented at the skill positions, is at the complete mercy of their offensive line. Kirk Cousins was under siege a lot in 2018 and their running game didn’t fair much better. One could argue almost every position up front needs an upgrade but sometimes it only takes one strong move to get it going in the right direction. So GM Rick Spielman decides to take an unexpected risk on an unproven player.

People forget that Forrest Lamp was a 2nd round pick for the Los Angeles Chargers two years ago. Sadly a season-ending injury as a rookie prevented him from winning a starting job, of which he was capable. Since then he’s been stewing quietly on the sideline waiting for an opportunity. Minnesota may be the ticket he’s been waiting for. He was an excellent pass protector in college and has flashed that same skill during his brief stints on the field in L.A.
