The Oakland Raiders have a ton of draft capital at their disposal in 2019, so they can afford to be aggressive for a quality veteran player if they wish. One area they realize they need more help at is wide receiver. They may have secured a 1st round pick for Amari Cooper, but his loss is certainly felt. How ironic would it be that they used another trade to find his replacement? Jon Gruden being who he goes straight for the proven veteran.

Antonio Brown seems to have finally worn out his welcome in Pittsburgh. This despite continuing to be one of the best in the NFL at what he does. It’s no secret he’s a selfish type of player but Gruden is no stranger to coaching those types. Ask Keyshawn Johnson. Brown is into his 30s now and commands a large contract so the Steelers won’t get maximum return for him. Still, what they do get is solid and the Raiders get themselves an instant playmaker on offense.
