1. Philip Rivers – Los Angeles Chargers

The QB with the most to prove on Wild Card weekend is Philip Rivers. Yes, Philip Rivers has been to the playoffs before. He’s won playoff games before. He’s taken his team to the AFC championship game before. While he’s done all that, he hasn’t done the most important thing of all. That’s win a Super Bowl.

Rivers was in the same draft class as Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger. Both of those guys have won two Super Bowls, but Rivers has never even played in a Super Bowl. He’s missed the playoffs more times than he’s made it.

This is the first time in four years the Chargers have made the playoffs. At 12-4, this Chargers team is one of the best Rivers has ever been a part of. He has to take advantage of that.

Rivers and the Chargers are going up against the Baltimore Ravens on Wild Card weekend. The same Ravens team who beat them just a few weeks ago. The Ravens may be the toughest challenger standing in the way of the Chargers going to the Super Bowl.

Rivers needs to rebound from his terrible performance in their last meeting and lead his team to a Wild Card weekend win. If Rivers can’t take this team to the Super Bowl, how many more chances will he get?
