Which QB has the most to prove on Wild Card weekend?

5. Deshaun Watson – Houston Texans

DeShaun Watson is in a similar situation to Lamar Jackson, which is why they’re ranked so closely. Watson isn’t a rookie QB, but this is his first time being in the playoffs in the NFL. For this being his first ever NFL playoff game, I don’t feel like there’s a lot he needs to prove here.

Similar to Jackson, Watson is still a very young QB. He’s just 23 in his second NFL season. That means he’s got plenty of time to win playoff games later in his career if he doesn’t get a win or two this season. It will be important for Watson to prove he can win in the postseason, but I don’t think he has to do that right now.

If there’s something I want to see from Watson, it’s not being afraid of the big moment. He was never afraid of the big moment in college, but the NFL is bigger than college football. I want to see Watson come out and perform well on Wild Card weekend, but I don’t think he’s necessarily under immense amounts of pressure to win postseason games right now.
