Which QB has the most to prove on Wild Card weekend?

7. Russell Wilson – Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson doesn’t have much to prove on Wild Card weekend because of what he’s accomplished previously in his career. Wilson has taken the Seahawks to two Super Bowls, winning one of them.

Wilson was one bad throw away from winning a second Super Bowl. The fact that Wilson has already won a Super Bowl and been to another means there’s not much he needs to prove in the postseason anymore.

If I were to make an argument for Wilson needing to prove something, it’d be proving he can make a postseason run without having the league’s best defense on his team. The Seahawks had the Legion of Boom when they went to those two Super Bowls. They haven’t been the same team since the Legion of Boom started depleting because of injuries and what not.

Wilson has had to carry the load for this team over the past couple seasons. If he needs to prove anything, it’s proving he can win as the team’s best player and leader. Regardless of the result on Wild Card weekend, Wilson still has a Super Bowl win and another Super bowl appearance already on his resumé.
