Here are the players to watch and prediction for the blockbuster Alabama vs. Oklahoma showdown in the Orange Bowl.

Controversy (whether minor or significantly large) seems to follow the College Football Playoff and its process of accepting the four best teams. This season was no exception.

One of the teams to make the final dance was, of course, the Alabama Crimson Tide, a team that cruised through the regular season in which their closest game was a 22-point victory over division foe Texas A&M.

In the SEC championship game against Georgia, a storybook ending resulted in a comeback win over the Bulldogs for the second time in this calendar year. Nevertheless, the Tide was obviously the best team in college football all season.

On the other hand, the Oklahoma Sooners needed a little help in order to get in the CFP. Winning the Big 12 title game was a boost on their part. Now that they are in, the Sooners have something to prove. Having the Heisman trophy winner and a bright head coach looking to make a name for himself may prove to be a winning formula.

A clash is set to take place in Miami with a spot in the National Championship on the line. Before we get to the prediction, let’s highlight players to watch.
