The most important player to every AFC teams’ playoff hopes
By Joel Deering
With two weeks left to go in the NFL season, there’s a tight race for the remaining AFC playoff spots. Which player is most important to their AFC team’s playoff hopes?
The AFC has two teams who have already locked up a playoff spot. Those two teams are the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.
With both teams being in the same division, the AFC has yet to crown three of its division winners.
Either the Chargers or Chiefs will occupy a Wild Card spot, leaving one Wild Card spot up for grabs.
That leaves us with a total of four AFC playoff spots still left to play for. Right now the Houston Texans, New England Patriots, and Pittsburgh Steelers are leading their divisions, but there’s still a chance they could end up with a Wild Card spot or not making the playoffs if things don’t go their way.
Including the Texans, Patriots and Steelers, there are eight teams who still have a shot at the four remaining spots. In this tight AFC playoff race, which player on each team is the most important to their AFC teams’ playoff hopes?
