New York Jets fans can finally breath a little. They have found their franchise quarterback, they will go into next year with the second most cap space in the NFL, and they hold an early pick in the draft.

Things are finally looking up for the Jets.

The Jets are only 4-10 this year but have four losses that were all within one score. With a few more playmakers, this Jets team could have seven to eight wins.

The Jets are lacking playmakers this year on both sides of the ball, but luckily have a projected $106 million in cap space to spend this offseason. There biggest needs are RB, WR, OL, and DL.

There are a lot of high level defensive lineman projected to hit the market this offseason, which is where I think they attack that need. I also think they make a run at Le’Veon Bell to take pressure off of Darnold. Bell could be to Sam Darnold what Ezekiel Elliot is to Dak Prescott.

That leaves them with WR and OL to attack during the draft. Luckily for Darnold, this is one of the best wide receiver classes in recent years.

Here is a three round preview of the 2019 NFL Draft for the New York Jets.
