If we had a losing record I think there would be a strong focus on Robinson. Is Robinson still the #1 WR or has Miller taken that spot? Can we expect more out of Robinson? Are we using him correctly? The guy is great on jump balls but we don’t see enough end zone targets.

Sometimes people get too caught up in the numbers. Robinson has been a tremendous target and easily the most reliable the Bears have. The nature of this offense under Matt Nagy isn’t about featuring any one player. It’s about spreading the ball around. Yet whenever they’ve needed a clutch catch to jumpstart things, he’s always the one they look for. Miller looked good early but he’s tapered off lately. Typical of rookies. As Trubisky grows in comfort level with this system, I expect Robinson’s numbers to improve.

As we head into the end of the regular season and into the playoffs, do you see Nagy changing up the offense to possibly have Cohen and Howard in together more, or what ways do you see him changing up the offense?

I already think he’s changing it in a way I’ve called for going back weeks and months. That’s incorporating the tight ends more. To this point it’s been pretty much Trey Burton or nobody else in regards to that position. Hence why he can tend to disappear from time to time. That isn’t the case anymore with the return of Adam Shaheen. Those two gave the Packers problems last week and I expect that to continue as Shaheen gets further up to speed in the system. Having them on the field at the same time will create all sorts of juicy matchups.
