Darius Leonard, LB, Colts

No rookie in the NFL is putting up more impressive numbers than Darius Leonard, and that would include the offensive numbers being put up by Saquon Barkley, in my opinion.

Leonard has played his way at or near the top of the Defensive Rookie of the Year conversation with 146 total tackles, seven sacks, four forced fumbles, six pass breakups, one interception, and eight quarterback hits.

He’s literally doing everything for the Colts’ defense, and was the missing piece for what their defense really needed to take the next step.

In all honesty, Leonard may be the biggest Pro Bowl snub of them all, everything considered. The Colts’ defense has really helped vault this team into the playoff discussion and Leonard is a primary reason why.
