1. Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State

21 career games (20-1 record)

Dwayne Haskins is in his first year as a starter for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and he’s barely had any moments worth criticizing.

After a deeper dive into Haskins’ 2018 season, it is clear he’s a top-flight quarterback prospect with the tools and intangibles to succeed quickly at the next level.

Haskins, mechanically, looks pretty flawless. He has great footwork in the pocket and throws a beautiful ball. He does a great job of looking off defenders, getting the ball out quickly, and getting the ball to his target on time.

Whether Haskins is pushing tempo or playing ball control, he is in control of the Ohio State offense. It’s clear this is a player who takes game-planning very seriously and someone who understands what defenses are doing pre-snap.

You don’t complete 70.2 percent of your passes in college over any sample size without being able to manipulate the defenses you’re playing relatively easily.

It hasn’t been smooth sailing for Haskins all year, but the Heisman finalist has very few weaknesses in his game and can make plays both on schedule and when the play breaks down.

He looks like a legit top 10 player in this year’s draft class.
