Saquon Barkley – Winner

While the Giants certainly still need to find their replacement for Eli Manning, Saquon Barkley is showing just how deserving he may have been of an early pick in the draft. After facing much criticism for taking Barkley at the second overall spot, the Giants and Saquon himself appear to be on a mission to prove all those doubters wrong.

Many have Barkley leading the rookie of the year voting race, and deservingly so. He has rushed for over 1,100 yards through his first 13 games and has picked up over 600 receiving yards as well. While he may not be the answer to their quarterback problem, Barkley will be a center piece of this offense for many years to come.

Sunday he showed us once again just how deadly he can be to opposing defenses. Sunday versus the Redskins, Barkley recorded his sixth 100-plus yard performance, and his fourth in a row. He destroyed the Redskins defense, rushing for 170 yards on just 12 carries. He also picked up a long rush of 78 yards and a touchdown. It was another dominant performance by the rookie and left Giants fans smiling even during a bad season.
